A Minor App and Performance Improvements – Apple Releases iTunes 12.6.2

MacOS 10.6.2 has been released by Apple but alongside, the company has released a minor iTunes update as well. The release notes hold that the firm has equipped iTunes 12.6.2 with “minor app and performance improvements.” The update is confirmed by Apple’s official wed and is available easily on Mac App Store.

Using various public beta versions, the company also launched today iOS 10.3.3 for iPhone and iPad, watchOS 3.2.3 for Apple Watch, and tvOS 10.2.2 for Apple TV.

Back in March this year, the company added “rent once, watch everywhere” feature in iTunes 12.6 updated version. Well, that’s not over yet as Apple is preparing to bring iTunes available on Windows Store as well later this year. This way iTunes will be compatible with the Windows 10 S update that only allows approved software to run.

Apple suggest a minor app update and performance improvement but here’s what you need to know that may excite you:

  • Your entire music and collection will be needing just a click as iTunes makes it future easy. So now you don’t have to collect stacks of CDs as iTunes gives you a complete hassle free access to digital entertainment.
  • With quick search enabled, searching becomes much easier.

  • Shuffle songs, bring music from other computers to your network and enjoy complete onscreen control while playing videos.
